Catalytic Oxidation Purification

Trace O₂, H₂, CO, or VOC residues in industrial gases cannot be reduced to sub-ppm levels by conventional adsorption. We employ precious metal or transition metal catalysts to convert these impurities into harmless products (H₂O, CO₂) via catalytic oxidation or hydrogenation, achieving deep gas purification.

O₂ Removal from H₂
- Transition metal sulfide catalyst system catalyzes O₂ hydrogenation in H₂ to < 1 ppm; suitable for high-purity H₂ purification
O₂ Removal from N₂/CO₂
- Pd/Al₂O₃ catalyst performs catalytic hydrogenation deoxygenation; O₂ residual down to < 1 ppm
VOC Waste Gas Treatment
- Regenerative/thermal oxidizers (RCO/RTO) oxidize VOC at temperatures far below direct combustion (150–400°C) with efficiency > 99%
Catalyst Regenerability
- Coked catalysts can be reactivated by high-temperature calcination with excess air, ensuring long service life
